The Lubavitcher Rebbe taught us how to learn Chumash with Rashi. For many centuries everyone from a five-year-old child through aged scholars has studied Chumash with Rashi’s commentary. What did the Rebbe add? He added an entirely new approach which shows Rashi’s commentary in a light in which it has never been seen or understood. It is noteworthy that for the most part the Rebbe’s explanations are based on rules which Rashi himself set out.

Our goal is to share this with as many people as possible. To this end, we are sharing snippets and summaries of his explanations of Rashi’s comments, for each weekly Torah portion.
